Searching for Rocks and Shells

The best part about going to the beach is definitely the ocean. The ocean is HUGE!

Mom told me we should look for cool rocks to bring home with us. She wanted to find white ones, but I liked the speckled ones the best. I found lots of white ones too!

And there were sooooo many sand dollars! We got a whole bag full so we can bring them to school to share with all of my friends.

Finding Frogs

Another fun thing to do at the Beach House is find frogs in Grandpa's frog pond. You have to stand back away from the edge of the pond so you won't slip in....that water is cold!

Dad is really good at finding them.

After he found it, we each gave the frog a kiss.

Kissing a frog is kind of silly.

Golf Lesson

We spent Memorial Day Weekend at Grandma and Grandpa's Beach House with Drs. Greg and Luz, Nicolas, and Isabella and Chad (Thriller), Sabrina, and Erin. I had a great time.
Thriller is a golf pro so he gave us a little mini-lesson. I think Erin has been practicing more than the rest of us :)
The best part about the golf course is really that is provides so much space to run around.

Hint of Summer

We had some really nice weather a couple of weekends ago...pre-summer is what Mom kept calling it. We didn't have any popsicles so Mom got some push-ups from Safeway. These are really tricky to eat when it is warm enough for them to melt. I am going to need some more practice.

Saturday Night with Nani

Saturday night I got to spend the night with Nani.
We had lots of fun.
I love you Nani!

Saturday at the Zoo

On Saturday Aunt Renee and Uncle Ryan and Jack and Henry came to Vancouver and we all went to the Oregon Zoo with Nani. I saw lots of animals but my favorites were the Meerkats, Lemurs, and Ducks....or at least that's what I keep telling people. They also have a new dinosaur exhibit that is really cool with a giant T-Rex. I am really into dinos these days. I know T-Rex, triceratops, stegosaurus, allosaurus, apotasaurus (Mom's not 100% sure about these spellings).

There was a really cool farm part in the zoo where Jack and Henry and I went to pet some goats. I also got to "drive" a tractor.

Weekend in Vancouver

We spent the weekend in Vancouver visiting Nani and Grandma Alice for Mothers Day. We stayed at the Hilton in lovely Downtown Vancouver. I had a great time. I kept telling Mom and Day: "I yike this place". I especially liked the giant king-size bed and the pool and hot tub.

Saturday morning we went to the Farmer's Market down the street and picked up some flowers for Grandma Alice. For my Wisconsin Family: Yes, those are lilacs. They are in full bloom right now, smelling AMAZING, and Mom is loving it.
