Popsicles in the Pool

We had one nice day while Grandma Joy was visiting. I spent the whole day in the pool. Grandma Joy thought I was soooo funny!

I recently discovered popsicles and I have decided that they are delicious! Lime is my favorite...I must take after Grandpa John!

Notice my cool "rockstar hair"...that's what Chelsea calls it. Mom likes to style it this way when she covers me in sunscreen.

I like to drink from the sprinkler in the pool. It's tricky but I think I've got the hang of it now.

Reading with Grandma Joy

Grandma Joy came to visit me and she took care of me while daycare was closed. We had lots of fun. Here are some photos of me and my Grandma hanging out in the house. "Spot Goes to A Party" is one of my old favorites.

Construction 101

Mom and Dad gave me my own little table and chairs so that I can draw and play with my laptop computer. Constructing the chairs was very exciting. I was so excited, I wanted to sit on the chair even before Dad finished the assembly.

There were lots of pieces.

They just kept coming out of this box.

I had to get out my hammer and help Dad build them.

This was lots of fun!

Chah-chick (Chelsea) came over and hung out with Mom and me when Dad went to visit Grandpa. We had lots of fun in the sun.

Makin' a Splash

I think I could get used to this summer thing...especially the pool.

This pool is really nice.

Can't forget my snacks...I'll just put my grapes here for a second.

Mmmmmm, water is not so warm - but splashing is really fun!

Grahams and Sun Screen

It was really sunny in Vancouver and Mom wanted to make sure my little nose didn't get a sunburn.

Nani gave me graham crackers. I had no idea crackers could be so tasty!

Too Much Birthday

We went to Vancouver to celebrate great-grandma Alice's 73rd Birthday. I had lots of cake. This coupled with no naps all day made me a very tired boy.

A Rainy Day Walk

We went to the Bloedel Reserve while Aunt Dianne and Uncle Ed were here for a visit. Even though it rained all day, we had a great time. The Bloedel Reserve is a really beautiful place. Dad wants to take Nani there when she comes for a visit next time.

Mom hates this photo, but it was the best one Dad got. Mom always manages to close her eyes....

I was a really really good boy all day. The rain didn't bother me at all. I got a little cranky at the end of the walk and then cranky again when they kept trying to wake me up in the car when I wanted to take a nap.

I love Jamba Juice. Mom thinks I should be their new spokesmodel.

Avery isn't very good at sharing though....

Mmmmm Flowers Smell Nice

Mom is teaching me about flowers and how nice they smell. I like to smell every flower I see now. These allium in our backyard were really cool. They tickled my nose.

Being Outside Is So Much Fun

I love being outside. I want to go outside as soon as we come home from daycare. Every day. It doesn't matter if it's sunny or rainy or cold or hot. Outside is where it's at!

I make my best faces when I'm playing outside.

Got Rocks?

There are all of these cool teeny weeny rocks that cover the greenhouse floor and I love to throw them.

I pick up big handfuls of rocks...and....throw!!

This is lots of fun.

Hmmm, here's a nice handful. I wonder if Dad is really watching me while he's holding that camera...

I guess so.....
