Mom and Dad

Everyone's always asking...so here's a photo of Mom and Dad (taken at Alli and Barrett's wedding in Aberdeen)

Playing in my PJs at the Beach.

I spent the weekend with Grandpa Dean and Grandma Trudie at the beach house so Mom and Dad could go to Alli and Barrett's wedding in Aberdeen. I showed Grandma and Grandpa all of my best tricks.

Grandma let me play with her Sponge Bob sponge in the bath tub. I went to the beach to go clam digging but it was really windy so I stayed in the truck with Aunt Carrie.

By the end of the weekend I could say "grandpa" - which was a real crowd pleaser.

Grumpy Faces

I've been kind of cranky this week. I must be getting more teeth. They have really been bothering me.

And then Mom is always trying to get me to smile for the camera and that just makes me MAD. Knock it off Mom, it's not funny - my teeth hurt!
Just get me some ice or something will ya!

Walking and Talking

I've been doing lots of walking and lots of talking.

And building lots of towers with my blocks...and then knocking them down.

Talk talk talk.

No one can really understand what I'm saying though - and that is getting really frustrating.

Sunday Snacks

These are photos that Dad took this morning. I was having some snacks in my pjs.

My favorite snack right now is freeze dried raspberries. Mom buys them at Whole Foods and they are delicious!

I like to share my snacks with Avery but he doesn't really like these raspberries, which works out great for me because then I get to eat more of them myself.

A New Attitude

My hair is getting long again but Mom and Dad have decided they aren't going to cut it for awhile. Mom wants to see what it looks like when it's longer, so we're letting it grow.

She put some funny stuff in it this weekend and when she was finished both she and Dad were laughing and laughing at me.

Give a kid a faux-hawk and put him in a black shirt and it's like instant attitude.

Of course I made some ham faces and that made Mom and Dad laugh even harder. I was in rare form.

Hanging in My Room

We had a fun weekend. I have been quite the little turkey. Constantly surprising Mom and Dad with my comprehension skills. I am babbling all the time now. I am also doing lots of sign language. "Please" is a good one. Especially when I do the sign for "Einstein" and Mom tells me "Not now Colton"...then I sign "Please" and that gets her every time.

These photos were taken in my bedroom. We hung out in my room on Saturday after my morning nap. Here's a photo of me with my horse Gus. Grandma Joy sent him to me for Valentine's Day last year.

I get cuter and cuter every day don't you think?

Latest Antics

I've been doing lots of talking, talking, talking!

I know who Sponge Bob is! I just started pointing him out and saying "BUM Bah" - which if you spoke coltonese you would know is "Sponge Bob".

...Coltonese is a tricky language, but I think Mom and Dad are finally starting to catch on.

Let's see, what else is new:

I have been doing some teething lately (as you can see by all of the drool in these photos).

We got a new refrigerator on Saturday (Mom and Dad like it a lot). We had to get out the coolers so that we could store all of the freezer contents while they delivered the new 'fridge and took away the old one. I was a big help to Dad when it came time to load the cooler.

And I've also been practicing my harmonica. I'm getting really good at playing it...and I've been doing some drumming too.
