Lots of New Tricks

I took my first steps this weekend.
Three steps in a row for Dad!

And I didn't use my walker. . .but this is a cute photo of me with my walker. I love it!

I can do lots of things now!

I can hold a sippy cup and drink by myself.

I share my cheerios and puffs with Mom and Dad (this means I get to feed them now!!)

I can find my "Froggy Bear" when Mom and Dad ask me where he is.

I can open Mom and Dad's hands and place a book, or a toy, or a Baby Einstein video inside of them.

Of course Mom and Dad didn't get any photo proof of any of these exciting new things, but here are some other really cute photos of me! I am playing with the new tool set that Aunt Sarah and Uncle John sent to me from Wisconsin, a gift for my first birthday.

Also, I got my 1 year shots on Thursday. I weigh 21.5 lbs and I am 31 inces tall. I am actually tall for my age (at this current moment)!

A Trip to the Pumpkin Patch

Yesterday, we took a trip to the pumpkin patch in Carnation (not sure what the name of it was, but it was by the Nestle Training Center. Auntie Chels came with us and rode in the back seat with me. Mom thought it was really cold after being in Maui for two weeks so I wore my hat and pumpkin camo.

It was such a beautiful day for pumpkins. Blue skies and perfect fall temperature.

The moment we got there I did lots of "ooooooooo" and five finger pointing. They were sooooo cool!! I liked all of them.

Pumpkins, pumpkins, everywhere!!

Then Mom found this cool gourd for me.
Dad took this photo of Auntie Chelsea and me and my gourd on the way back to the car.

I fell asleep on the ride home. . .but I wasn't going to let anyone get my gourd.

An Apple A Day. . .

We got a fruit basket in the mail from Dad's friend Dave (a wedding gift). Pineapple, guava, bananas, pears, kiwi, and a bright red shiney apple. The moment I spied this apple, I decided right away that I needed to investigate a little more.

I've never seen an apple like this before. I only eat apples after Dad has cut them into small pieces. I've never tasted one like this.

Let me just say that for the record, apples are pretty tasty - but much better in the sauce form. Although, they do have lots of juice when you bite into them like a little vampire. . .and they feel good on my new teeth.

I am 1 Year Old!!

I turned 1 year old when we were in Maui. I got lots of presents and everyone sang Happy Birthday and I got to eat CAKE!!!

Here are some photos of me eating my chocolate birthday cupcake.

First I thought it was fun to eat each individual sprinkle off of the frosting one by one.

Then I realized that I could just pick up the entire cupcake and put it in my mouth. Chocolate is goooood!

Had a Great Time in Maui

Mom will post all of the photos from Nonnie and Papa Charlie here. . .

Gettin' Ready for Maui

We spent a lot of time getting ready to go to Maui today.

I've got my sunglasses,

I've got my phone

I've got my smilin' face!

Drinkin' on Sunday Morning

A good portion of our weekend was spent drinking.

Mom and Dad really tried hard to teach me to drink by myself. I am just not interested. I like to hold my cup, but I don't understand about tipping it up and back so that I can get something out of it.

These photos are getting annoying Dad!

Sunday Morning Faces

I was in a good mood today after my morning nap.
Dad got me to make all kinds of faces and he even managed to snap a few pictures of some of them.

Here is my monster face:

Here I am playing in the couch blanket.

and just being my adorable self. . .
