Sun on my face

Beach Steps

Mom thinks I look very grown up in this photo.

I really liked sitting on the steps at the beach house. I would bring my snacks outside with me and sit on the steps to eat them.

I noticed that Mom was taking photos of me with the camera so I had to get up and investigate.

And then of course, I had to go back to the steps to pose...

Grandpa's Tractor

Grandpa Dean took me for a ride on the "tractor"...Mom said it was really a lawn mower but that didn't make any sense to me because this lawn mower has a steering wheel! Grandpa even let me do the driving! It's a good thing I had lots of space to practic my turns.

Beach Smiles

We had a fantastic time at the beach house last weekend.

We went for lots of walks all around the yard to check things out.
I took Mom to the fish pond where we saw grandpa's goldfish have grown to about 5 inches since last summer. We tasted plums from the plum tree and Mom told me not to touch the apples on the ground because they were for the deer..."deeeeer aahhpull"

Daddy's Salmon

Daddy caught a 13 lb. chinook salmon while we were at the beach. I wasn't really sure what to make of it. They kept telling me to kiss it...I definitely wasn't sure about that.

Grandma Trudie's Beach Garden

Grandma Trudie has some beautiful dahlias growing at the beach.
I had to stop and smell every one of them.

Cheezy Grin

Mom and Dad are having a hard time getting me to smile for the camera. I always want to make the ham face. Now they say: "show me your teeth"...so then I make a face like this:

Another Trip to the Zoo

Mom, Chelsea, and I went to the zoo a few weekends ago. Mom took only two photos and this was the cute one. We were too busy looking at all of the animals. I got to stand right next tot he jaguar as it paced in front of the glass.
Chelsea got me a stuffed toy meerkat and I named him Mike. He is my new favorite.
Mike! Meeeeer-Tat! He goes nearly everywhere with me now.

Hats

Here's a funny photo of me and Mom wearing hats....

22 Months going on 22 Years

Did somebody say cute?

Yes, I've still got those long eye lashes...

Daddy and Me Being Funny

Mom tried to take some photos of me and Dad...

She's not so good with the camera, so these are a little grainy....but oh so cute!

Fun on the Lake Trail

Here are some photos Dad took on the lake trail.

He kept telling me to smile, but all I would give him was ham....

Hanging at the Lake with Dad

Dad and I went to the lake last weekend.

I had lots of fun splashing in the water.

We had a great time.

I found this rope and Dad tried to tell me it was a lake snake, but I didn't buy it.

Growing Up So Fast

I am growing up soooo fast! Talking all the time. Repeating everything...

Grandma Alice warned Mom that if she gets my hair cut I will look a whole year older!

So now Mom is afraid to take me for a haircut.

Do you think I need one?

Newsflash: Last night I went pee in my potty!!!

I was in the bath tub and I told Daddy: "Potty" and pointed to my little potty.

Daddy lifted me out of the bath and sat me on my potty and when I stood up I pointed to the potty and said "uh oh, pee"...Daddy assured me that this was a good thing because this is where pee is supposed to go. Now I see Mommy and Daddy walking around with their fingers crossed all the time.....

Trip to Vancouver

We went to Vancouver last weekend for the Annual Patterson family reunion. After the reunion we went to Grandpa Dean and Grandma Trudie's and Dad got some cool birthday presents. I thought the ribbons on the wrapping were especially nice.
While we were in Vancouver I saw Nani and Papa. I love Papa. Yeay Papa! We also saw Uncle Mike (I am very proud of how I can say: Mike, Mike, Mike!) and my cousin Grace and Aunt Robin.
I spent some time entertaining Grandma Alice. We played peek-a-boo and turned the lights on and off.
We slept at Aunt Kathy's house and she gave me raisins for breakfast and I got to watch the puppy movie (101 Dalmations). I got a toy snake from Uncle Larry. He showed me how to carry it in my teeth! This is a really cute trick (no photos of this yet).

Big Wheels

Yeay! A big wheel!

Thank You Grandma!!
